CS 3733 Software Engineering: Full-Stack Hospital Navigation Web App

For my CS 3733 Software Engineering class, my team of eleven built a comprehensive kiosk web application for Brigham & Women’s Hospital. We developed a full-stack platform using React, Express, PostgreSQL, and AWS to provide hospital visitors with interactive pathfinding and allow staff to manage service requests and map data.

As a full-stack developer on the project, I focused heavily on database integration and data management. I designed and implemented a modular CSV upload and download system that allowed administrators to easily update map nodes, edges, and employee records in our PostgreSQL database. I also debugged AWS deployment issues related to database schemas, built the frontend for patient transportation requests, and overhauled the login UI. Beyond coding, I designed and organized the project’s comprehensive user manual, ensuring consistent documentation across all of the application’s features.
